Nine holes of this course are so challenging you will want to play that nine again. Take a lot of golf balls. One nine is an old muni type course up and down. Over the ditch, across the pond... normal nine hole course. Nice but not exciting... the other nine plays up through the red dirt hills and ravines. Some blind shots, some shots across ravines. You won't ever forget this one... definitely a course on the "have to play list."

It plays like two different courses. The first nine is like an older established country course with good but mature greens and longer grass in the fairway. The back is newer with some very challenging elevations and carries. Overall great value north of the town of Rifle. My Rating C+ on the front nine and B on the back. They are that different.
